Illegal snacking

Bless me Weight Watchers for I have sinned.

I was sitting in front of the TV and I wasn't hungry because I'd already eaten dinner.

But I couldn't resist the lure of the kitchen...

First I polished off an ice cream. Then some chocolate raisins. Then I went back to the kitchen once again, for some pretzels.

There was no good reason for this. I didn't need to eat. I wasn't particularly bored. I wasn't feeling emotional in any way. But yet I went to the kitchen for unwanted and unneeded snacks three times!

I am absolutely mad with myself. I'd been so good all week and hadn't given in to any kind of temptation. I feel like a failure.

However, I will cut back on points for the next two days to cover off the points I spent on my illegal snacking. I'm still determined to get a good loss on the scales this week, so fingers crossed I haven't blown it.

  1. It happens to all of us and I like the fact that you have admitted it and are taking steps to counteract the badness...well done!

  2. You are doing exactly the right thing by planning how to counterbalance the slip-up. Don't think of yourself as a failure though, it's just a blip. You're only human, and as Bryher says, we all do it.
